Train Smarter, Move Better · Explore Squat Fit: Ultra

Precautions

For exercising on the Squat Max exercise devices (Standard, Independent Leg, Fold-Up, Ultra):

Before beginning an exercise program or starting an exercise program on new and unfamiliar exercise equipment, it is recommended to discuss the exercise equipment and your health with your doctor, physical therapist, athletic trainer, and/or fitness instructor.

You should be aware the Squat Fit: Ultra exercise will exert stress to the front of the pelvis (especially the front of the hip joints) when the body is angled forward. Soreness can be expected in this region. By limiting the forward lean, this stress can be reduced.

You should be aware of the following conditions that may become aggravated as a result of using the devices.

  • Osteopenia
  • Osteoporosis
  • Arthritis, Degenerative Joint Disease of the following joints in particular: Spine, Hips, Knees, Ankles, Feet
  • Strained muscle, ligament, tendons, joint capsules: Spine, Hips, Thighs, Lower legs, Feet
  • Joint Pathologies such as: Degeneration, Meniscus tear, Cartilage tear, Disc bulge/protrusion/prolapse/hernia
  • Abdominal conditions: Diastasis recti, Inguinal hernia, Femoral hernia

Always remember to start smart. Be warmed up. Get used to the equipment. Start on lowest setting to get your technique established. Build your coordination, strength and endurance up at a reasonable pace.
